Photometric Viewer 3
Lithonia
Lighting’s new Photometric Viewer v3
software program allows the user to view or print full photometric reports. In
addition, two reports can be viewed, side-by-side, for quick and easy
comparison. Photometric Viewer processes photometric files constructed in accordance with the IESNA standard LM-63 "IESNA Standard File Format for Electronic Transfer of Photometric Data". The software will process data from any of these versions of LM-63: 1986, 1991,1995
or 2002. The Viewer will not process Type A floodlight data however.
Photometric Viewer displays data and generates reports in three different formats:
The program also includes a room estimator, a wallwash estimator and an area lighting estimator. The estimators calculate illuminance levels based on preset parameters. The user has the ability to modify these parameters to meet their particular application needs.
Photometric Viewer is intended to be used to evaluate the photometric characteristics of luminaires and to aid the user in selecting between luminaires. Users are advised to use Visual to design and analyze lighting systems for particular applications.

The features of the popular TEMPLIT program have been added to the
Photometric Viewer allowing it to now create isoilluminance templates,
typically used in designing exterior lighting systems. The user
specifies a pole layout with up to 8 luminaires on the pole. The program
then generates the isoilluminance pattern for that pole. Parameters
include pole height, bracket arm length and angle, luminaire
orientation, tilt and spin, lamp lumen override and light loss factor.
The resultant output can be displayed on screen, printed or exported
into a DXF file. This latest version of the Photometric Viewer also
display the light distribution of outdoor luminaires in accordance with the
recent IESNA document TM-15. |
